Your note files stay in your browser
NoteMend is designed to process the .note file and the PDF you choose locally in your browser. The repair tool does not upload the contents of those files to a NoteMend server.
Prepared repair storage on your device
Before payment, NoteMend may temporarily store the prepared repaired file in your browser's local IndexedDB storage so it can survive a checkout return or page reload. This local copy stays on your device and can be cleared by starting over or clearing browser site data.
Payments and repair keys
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Payment details, billing information, receipts, taxes, and related transaction data are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy terms. NoteMend does not receive or store your payment card details.
When you redeem a repair key, NoteMend sends that key and a random repair-session identifier to Lemon Squeezy's license API to verify and activate the one-time purchase. Your .note file and original PDF are not sent with that request.
Hosting data
The hosting network may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and security or performance logs needed to deliver the site and prevent abuse.
No NoteMend account or repair database
NoteMend does not require an account and does not maintain a server database of your repaired notes, original PDFs, or repair history.
Local repair library
The ZIP-processing library used by the repair tool is served from the same NoteMend site. The repair flow does not need to send your selected files to a third-party file-processing service.
Font delivery
The site may request the Inter web font from Google Fonts. This request is separate from the repair flow and never includes the .note file or PDF you select.
